Available in solvent based and solvent free grades, TAKELAC™, is suitable for foil and non-foil laminations in food packaging. The Bis-phenol A and Organotin Compound free polyurethane adhesive is used in:

Microwaveable Packaging
It is ideal for use in transparent barrier films such as microwaveable retort pouches used for ready to serve rice and soup dishes. TAKELAC A-525S/TAKENATE A-50 can be safely used for aluminum retort pouches and microwavable retort pouches in compliance with the Food and Drug Administration.
TAKELAC is manufactured to meet the highest quality and environmental standards. All grades of the material comply with the latest complex Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requirements and regulations for retort packaging. The solvent based grade A-525S is approved by FDA 21 CFP 177, 1390 and the solvent free grade A-670A/A-670B is pending FDA approval.
Electronics Applications
TAKELAC can also be used in applications for the electronics industry such as solar cells and PDP mesh filter applications.
