NOTIO™ Nano-crystal Structure Controlled Elastomer Characteristics

The polyolefin compound is a flexible molding material of low specific gravity which is environmentally friendly and recyclable. Its unique set of characteristics have yielded high elasticity, heat resistance and transparency properties, surpassing the functionality of conventional elastomers.

Mitsui Chemicals has filed a Food-Contact Notification (FCN) with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the NOTIO™ product in November 2008, and the notification currently is pending with the Agency.
