NOTIO™ Nano-crystal Structure Controlled Elastomer

NOTIO™ is a flexible, low density, transparent elastomer with excellent heat resistance. The resin is not cross- linked and demonstrates superior elasticity. NOTIO's crystalline and amorphous structure (morphology) is controlled at the nano scale, allowing for the realization of properties that cannot be achieved with conventional elastomers.

By controlling the functional polymer's morphology, a non-cross-linked compound with superior heat resistance and elasticity has been developed

 

The addition of this low-density elastomer to other compounds, particularly polypropylene, to achieve a fine balance of:

Scratch resistance
Heat resistance
Transparency
Flexibility and elasticity
Elimination of whitening upon bending
